Prayer Update: Keep praying – something is going on. My former work colleagues are attempting to get me at work where they now work and it may take a few weeks, but I’ve already had some trouble with getting contacted so this can start the process. I’ve notified the colleague who is handling it and told him what is going on. He says he’ll look into it, but I told him to let me have until COB today to give it a chance, otherwise, I don’t understand why this is taking so long.
I also have an interview Monday for a 3-month position, if I get it and then get the job where my colleagues work, I’m going to have to tender my resignation because I can’t pass up that opportunity to work with my former colleagues again and learn the technologies that I would be afforded and they are very valuable in the field I’m in.
If it blacklists me for resigning — I’ll take that chance, but really it’s none of their business and employment in California is “at will” for either the employee or employer.

Be blessed brother. Thanking God for his provision and love. Keep moving forward and keep looking up!

I want to offer you an admonition Goldenknight, which you should completely disregard if you feel it does not apply to you and your situation. Beware of analyzing all of these opportunities solely on the natural level. Not advocating for you to check your brain at the door of faith as you consider these jobs, but just encouraging you to not rely solely on the practical reasoning of your own mind, without fully placing these and all opportunities completely on the altar before the Lord. Sometimes, what looks best is not. Not saying that is necessarily the case here, but just offering a cautionary word to not judge solely on the outward appearance. Again, if you prayerfully conclude that my words have no application to your situation, then I ask you to disregard them and chalk them up as well-meaning but non-applicable thoughts from a brother in Christ. Praying for a breakthrough in God’s provision for you according to His time and purposes, and an even greater revelation of what He is perfecting in you through this difficult season.
John 14:1-3 “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also."
