My daughter is having an Esther moment today as she is in deposition on behalf of her baby Elora& custody. Somehow she gets to answer all the difficult questions while the father gets to watch. Very backwards. I was a single dad who raised my kids so not partial to father or mother, just what is right. She’s scared to death & this man has hired a very expensive attorney & we have only humble means. She is A god fearing 22 year old just wanting to properly care for her daughter. She’s trying to complete nursing school & this man is doing everything to bully & intimidate her. Some things in life just not fair. Please pray for her….Alexah is her name and their daughter is Elora.March 10, 2017 at 10:39 am #129255
Just saw this on break at work. Praying for God to rise up as their Defender. Favor with judge. In Yeshua’s Name
John 14:1-3 “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also."March 10, 2017 at 11:51 am #129256
Will be praying-
"and all creation sing with me now, lift up your voice and lay your burdens down...let all of creation sing with me now fill up the heavens let HIs glory resound, and every knee will bow, oh in every tongue praise the Father, praise the Son and the Spirit in One!!"March 10, 2017 at 12:23 pm #129257

Me too, if the father’s only interest is in intimidating your daughter, I pray his true colors will come out.

Thank you all so much. What a blessing you all are!
I’m helplessly waiting on her call and hoping she survived. I’ve gone to court w her & stated by her side. She has an attorney but I know this is so hard on her. She starts nursing school tomorrow. Hope she’s not in tears. Breaks my heart.
God bless you all!!!March 10, 2017 at 4:36 pm #129267
Praise Jesus & thank you all!!!
She braved it out & only took one break where she teared up. She’s happy it’s over and in good spirits. She told the truth and God wa with her. She’s a good mom with nothing to hide. She got the visitation lined up w her nursing school. That’s a huge blessing for her. Next court date in April. Hope she gets custody. Without details this man doesn’t deserve more than visitation. Thank you all!!!March 10, 2017 at 5:12 pm #129269
Praising Jesus with you. Glad this ordeal is over for today and pray officials find in favor of your daughter and her daughter. Too often these scalawags create too much drama and destruction. Praying for the final outcome and will continue to lift your family to the Lord for the end result. Covering you all in His spiritual armor to stand strong in the face of this assault in Jesus mighty Name above all names. Amen

Wonderful Tony! I think it’s important now till the next court date, to pray for the Judge who will be making the custody decision:
The king’s heart is a stream of water in the hand of the Lord;
he turns it wherever he will.
Every way of a man is right in his own eyes,
but the Lord weighs the heart.
To do righteousness and justice
is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice…
No wisdom, no understanding, no counsel
can avail against the Lord.
The horse is made ready for the day of battle,
but the victory belongs to the Lord.

Is there a guardian ad litum (not sure of spelling) assigned to this court case? If there is, we should be praying for him/her, too.
I am glad your daughter saw the prayers here to support her. It’s important she know Christian soldiers are behind her and I pray this impacts her walk with the Lord. We are claiming the Lord’s victory in this matter for what is best for your granddaughter and daughter. Sadly today squeaky wheels get too much attention. Praying as we put this matter in the hands of the Lord for victory.

No guardian ad litum on this case. She has an attorney I had found on the chrtian business directory over 10 years ago. Capable & nice man. We are going against the supposed top custody attorney in the state. David vs Goliath. She finished her first day of nursing school and we are about to go pick up Elora. I have to escort her on each exchange as this man has been abusive. My daughter is taking a strong stand to raise her daughter in Jesus. This man is against that. Final court date in May. Prayers appreciated always. Thank you!March 11, 2017 at 4:54 pm #129287
Was just curious……had not heard that name before.
Meanings and history of the name Elora:
God is light
Breath of life
Crown of light

May the powers that be, exhibit the wisdom of Solomon. May they also distinguish between spirits. May heavenly justice be rendered.
Please share the results with us, when it is known. Blessings to you and your daughter.

I really love the name Elora too. My daughter picked it out and gave her my grandmothers middle name. My grandmother has always been such a blessing in my life. Unfortunately she will likely be moved to memory support as her Alzheimer’s is getting where she needs 24 hour monitoring. She’s soon too be 96. We just had a nice visit w her and she loved the babies. I always say we have a Noah household. We have 8 souls 2 x 2. 2 parents, 2 college age, 2 teens, 2 babies. We are also in the midst of closing on a house. Wrote a bit about it on another post called rapture launch pad. It’s a home on a hill overlooking the platte river. Beautiful. It’s very unique and is located by a small cemetery from the 1800’s. Maybe 15 tombstones. To us, if we get it, will be called rapture ranch…and the dead in Christ shall rise first and we who remain shall be caught up w him!!! Amen! Love all you guys…thanks for prayers & sure feels like family here. Love that!March 12, 2017 at 3:36 pm #129309
Thanks for sharing Tony. It makes us all feel part of the family. We know better how to best pray now. Indeed this is spiritual warfare. May God prevail in all decisions. TR is right we need the wisdom of Solomon for this judge.
From what you have said it appears this father has money to fight this case if he isn’t happy with the result. This could be a long battle. And he can’t be trusted to keep his word. The fact he has been known to be abusive is a huge warning sign. Any shared custody decisions need to be etched in stone complete with conditions if he doesn’t follow through as agreed upon. I have heard of many fathers not observing conditions agreed to in court meaning a need of going back to court but lawyers frown on doing that and refuse to go back. To them it’s trivial but not to you and your daughter. Be sure he has to honor any agreements made. Like he will lose partial custody if he doesn’t follow through.. some penalty clause. Is that even possible? I don’t know. But something to ask about. Problems arise when a new woman enters the picture later. Competition for the child arises. From what I hear NOW is the time to cement any agreements made. For better or worse he has the power to negatively impact your lives for a long time to come. Fortunately we know it won’t be too much longer as the Church Age is basically over. Elora is Jesus’ child above all else. He has the last word. Good News indeed.
