    I heard this on FoxNews Hannity show. Thought I should share this and can easily say that Satan seems to now have control of the USA because this is exactly what we are seeing in our country today, and this speech is from 1964. Paul Harvey seemed to know which way our country was headed even back then.

    Thank you very much for this report . Yes it is exactly what we see today , telling us The Coming of Jesus Christ is near .
    SIN almost reaching it’s pennacle in 2013 .
    As the Tribulation Years unfold , SIN will wax worse and worse . Thank The Lord we will not be here to see all that happens . Just watching what happens today is bad enough .
    ~~~ Two years after this report from Paul Harvey came out , 1966 , TIME MAGAZINE shocked America with a cover : God is dead ! Then in 1970 the Sexual Revolution began .
    GOD IS NOT MOCKED !
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Blessings today as you watch for Him , bon

    Who would have thought at that time that it would be exactly like he said it is now in this day? I would have thought, “Never in my lifetime, will I see these things happening.” Paul Harvey was before his time. I wonder if he realized just how prophetic that was.

    FLASHBACK: Paul Harvey, 1965: “If I Were the Devil” (Warning for the nation) Fox nation.

    Paul understood liberalism. This will send chills up your spine. See from where we’ve come to today and what comes next. It’s like a page out of Satan’s playbook.

    If I were the Devil…I mean, if I were the Prince of Darkness, I would of course, want to engulf the whole earth in darkness. I would have a third of it’s real estate and four fifths of it’s population , but I would not be happy until I seized the ripest apple on the tree, so I should set about however necessary to take over the United States. I would begin with a campaign of whispers. With the wisdom of a serpent, I would whisper to you as I whispered to Eve: “Do as you please.” To the young , I would whisper, “The Bible is a myth.” I would convince them that man created God instead of the other way around. I would confide that what is bad is good, and what is good is “square”.(Term used in the sixties for bad, odd.) In the ears of the young marrieds, I would whisper work is debasing, that cocktail parties are good for you. I would caution them not to be extreme in religion, in patriotism, in moral conduct. And the old, I would teach to pray. I would teach them to say after me: “Our Father, which art in Washington”….

    If I were the devil, I’d educate authors in how to make lurid literature exciting so that anything else would appear dull and uninteresting. I’d threaten TV with dirtier movies and vice versa. And then, if I were the devil, I’d get organized. I’d infiltrate unions, and urge more loafing and less work, because idle hands usually work for me. I’d peddle narcotics to whom I could. I’d sell alcohol to ladies and gentlemen of distinction. And I’d tranquilize the rest with pills. If I were the devil, I would encourage schools to refine young intellects but neglect to discipline emotions…let those run wild. I would designate an atheist to front for me before the highest courts in the land and I would get preachers to say, “she’s right”. (Reference to an atheist woman from the sixties, Madeline O’Hara.) With flattery and promises of power, I would evict God from the courthouse, and then from the schoolhouse (prayer removed from schools then–’63, I believe) and then from the House of Congress and then, in His own churches I would substitute psychology for religion, and I would deify science because that way men would become smart enough to create super weapons but not wise enough to use them.

    If I were Satan, I’d make the symbol of Easter an egg, and the symbol of Christmas, a bottle. If I were the devil, I would take from those who have and I would give to those who wanted, until I had killed the incentive of the ambitious. And then , my police state would force everybody back to work. Then, I would separate families, putting children in uniform, women in coal mines, and objectors in slave camps. In other words , If I were Satan, I’d just keep on doing what he’s doing.

    me curious? Naaaaaa~

    I’ll be getting this book in the mail in a few days ~ . . prophetically speaking, it’s got my attention~~

    . . . “What if the Antichrist were an American leader?
    What if he were alive today and living in the U.S.A?
    What if he were only a few years away from revealing himself to the world?

    Instead of being omitted from Bible prophecy as many of the major eschatology scholars have taught for decades, what if America were at the very center of Bible prophecy?

    What if the U.S.A., rather than Europe, Rome, or Babylon, were the power base of Satan’s conspiracy against the Kingdom of God?

    These three authors, Douglas W. Krieger, Dene McGriff, and S. Douglas Woodward, argue just that. Together, they have written what may be seen as a landmark book rethinking the traditional prophetic scenario in light of developments in America and the Middle East.

    Combined, these authors bring over 100 years of study, teaching, and writing to the subject of Bible prophecy. The amazing blend of their respective backgrounds in the foreign services, evangelical ministries, and corporate America, lends unsurpassed credibility to their stunning and remarkably fresh presentation.

    In some respects, The Final Babylon is a classic prophecy book, rich in exegesis of key scriptures most often overlooked or misinterpreted. The implications are life changing.”

    Shiloh: I’m with you there, it does sound so prophetic, I didn’t think I would be seeing as much as were seeing today, for years we have witnessed the slow decline of morals, religious freedom, constitutional rights as American Citizens, and the rise of Political correctness and Socialism. I pray to God He removes His Church before it all hit’s the fan.

    Victory Chanter: Thank you for the written speech, it reads like today’s newspapers which sends chills up my spine anyway. Thanks again.

    Donna: That book really sounds interesting, I sure would like to read how they come about this view. After you have read it, would you let us know how you liked it? I would like your opinion on this before I consider purchasing it. Thanks.

    I’ll give you a ‘review’, MS, after I read it . . ~~ prophetically ~~ we’ll see ~~ the way our ‘leader’ of this nation has made anti American changes, and obviously against Christ’s righteousness, I’m open to the research and study these 3 authors have shared.

    (I still have chills )**shudder**

    You guide me with your counsel, and afterward you will receive me to glory. Whom have I in heaven but you? And there is nothing on earth that I desire besides you. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. Psalm 73:24-26

    I do miss his “Good Day!” It was very distinctive as was his voice. He was a great listen whatever topic he spoke on. I hadn’t thought of him in years but when Hannity mentioned him I sat up and took notice. I still remembered his radio shows, his voice His characteristic trait . It was a gift I believe from the Lord and he used it well. Hopefully, we will hear it again someday. :unsure:

    Miss him too . My parents loved to watch him .
    If he could see 2013 …how shocked he would be , all he said fulfilled .
