    Hi all,

This is just for those who may be interested. I do a fair amount of videos that deal with certain subject matter apart from the chapter studies I also post. I’ll add some of that content here in case anyone is interested. Questions, comments, discussion always welcome :rose:

The Real Mandates We Have From the Lord

Faith in Jesus is the only requirement necessary for God to accept you (done with Lordship Salvation in mind)

How do works factor into the Christian life?

In Defense of the Pre-Trib Rapture

Romans1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. 17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

Going out on a limb here, but during my last illness I thought I saw a reference to the idea that the Church might lose its effectiveness during the last days. If that is so, I would appreciate a video on that idea.
    Thank you.

That idea is presented in Revelation 3:8, in the letter to the church of Philadelphia.

Revelation 3:8 I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.

The open door is the Gospel message. Since its inception with the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus, no man can stop its going forth. Conversely, only Jesus decides when its time to stop its going forth, and that’ll be at His Second Coming. The “little strength” is a reference to the church’s ability to affect change. Not that it has little faith or a waning degree of faith, but that it has many obstacles which stand in its way. This is why the rewards for those who stick with it are so great, primarily the crown of righteousness which is alluded to in Revelation 3:11.

Revelation 3:11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

Our course doesn’t end when we decide it should. It ends when we die or get raptured and can no longer follow said course because we’re not here on earth anymore. Thus, we have an admonition to “hold that fast which thou hast”, meaning exactly what I Corinthians 3 says about the Bema/judgment seat of Christ – we don’t “get” rewards, but we can lose them (I can explain that more fully if it’s confusing). That means we all have the capacity to earn the crown of righteousness. It’s already ours. Our duty is to KEEP it.

II Timothy 4:7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: 8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

I can do a video on that :good:

Romans1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. 17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

Heather I want to thank you for all your work and videos. I have no home church and due to health do not get out much. I miss bible studies so much. Knowing your videos are available any time I need one is , well wonderful. A week ago one of the early back to the basics videos gave me so much peace, it was just what I needed. May God bless you abundantly and always.
    Thank you,
    Love in Christ your brother,
    Blake

HeatherR, thanks so much for your post.
What I see too much these days is an idea that the Church is somehow in a sort of works situation, whereby if the Church can somehow just do good enough, it can somehow usher in the end times.

    I Thess 4:13-18 – The Rapture & The Bema

Romans1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. 17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

This is next on the agenda. The judgment seat of Christ is one of my favorite topics to discuss as it relates to “when” it will happen, but I’ll also be addressing how we can all have clear expectations about how we go about getting what we will get and how the determination is made about what “stands through the fire”. It’s a fascinating concept to me.

The Bema aka the Judgment Seat of Christ & The Result of Faith in a Believer’s Life

Romans1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. 17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

The Spirit of God – How the OT and NT meet in the Person of Jesus

I don’t remember much about this one, but I know from the scripture in the description box that I go over why the angels and their offspring are irredeemable.

Romans1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. 17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
