My son is 15 years old and he believes God wants him to be a preacher one day. He has an amazing gift of understanding the Bible and God’s ways. Last night he had what I would call a prophetic dream. He has never had one before, and really did not know what to think of it. When he told it to me, it made immediate sense to me. It was a simple dream and very easy to interpret.

    He said it this way:
“In my dream I knew the rapture was going to happen the next day, and so did every Christian in the world. So we all packed our bags like we were going on a long trip. Then a flood came and there was water everywhere. Me and the whole family began jumping on top of floating cars, and we did not even get our feet wet.”

It brought to mind the discussion of whether we would have a warning before the rapture. My son’s dream seemed to indicate we would know, and we were “preparing” to leave. (The luggage is symbolic of that.) A flood has always been a symbol of judgment and the world was starting to be judged. But believers were spared. Our feet were not even wet. I think the whole picture of it is pretty cool.

Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?”

And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”

Neat! A great confirmation of what many of us have believed, showing the loving nature of God. Indeed there will immediately be a flood of evil that shall not touch us. We may also be given a “high” sign or advance warning of the Lord’s plans. Again a reflection of God’s heart towards as He demonstrated towards Abraham with the forthcoming destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. We like father Abraham are his servants. Why would He, the Lord hide such a thing. Again, the Rapture is God’s mechanism for each of us being given our “glorified” bodies. It speaks to the fact that we shall not endure the “wrath” of God. It is a momentous moment in history both for the saints and the world who shall also be greatly affected. And an opportunity for us to engage in a “group” hug with our Lord! All in all I still cannot understand why no one would not embrace the Rapture, or at least be mindful of it’s occurance! Now I would question your son and see if he had any sense as to the nearness of this dreams completion!

What came to my mind was a last ditch effort of the enemy with the flood, to thwart the plans of the Lord, as he always attempts to do, by drowning all the saints.

I Am the Lord! Besides Me there is no Savior. For there is no other name under Heaven given among men by which we must be saved. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved!...For in him we live, and move, and have our being!

I did question him, and he said it seemed like the exact same time frame as today. His exact words: “It all happened in the exact time frame as it is now.” He was sure it was still spring time, and we are all the same age as we are now.

Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?”

And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”

Praise our Lord & Savior Jesus for this dream! A spring departure seems very possible.

Matthew 24:36-37 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of Man be.

When his dream comes true, we shall all be told by God himself and be prepared for conversion and translation of our earthly bodies and home to our heavenly bodies and home! I did indeed get a vague time reference the first time but wanted to substantiate it. Indeed, summer is NIGH! Ascencion Day and Pentacost approacheth! Thanks for sharing, blessings to your son! Though Abraham a picture of those that love God was given more than a days notification, Lot & his family a picture of the sleeping church, was given less than 24hrs!

I can only hope and pray…….and if it’s the LORD’S will that I would stay the same age as I am now, WHO CARES????? As long as HE fixes the inside that’s where all the wear and tear has been. Every I start thinking and talking about the Rapture I get so anxious and excited, then I have to tell myself to calm down. Blessings to all.
