Glad to hear JD correct his misstatement on last week’s update regarding Obama’s supposed future involvement with the UN Security Council. On a different point, I have to agree that something in my spirit just does not feel quite right about Trump. Don’t get me wrong. I am sincerely and deeply grateful to the Lord that he is the one sleeping in the White House tonight instead of Hillary (and Bill). I just don’t know if he is everything that everyone seems to thinks he is. I, for one, refuse to put my trust in a man. I will sincerely pray for him, that the Lord would protect him and give him wisdom to rule, but I will also be watching very closely what he does and asking the Lord for continued discernment. I think we would be foolish to do anything else.
John 14:1-3 “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also."January 22, 2017 at 6:05 pm #127445

Same here. I’m very happy Hillary didn’t win but I can’t dismiss the feeling that this isn’t what it seems.
I’m sorry for your loss Watchman. You are in my prayers.January 22, 2017 at 9:53 pm #127456
me too. i definitely didn’t want the clintons in the white house again. i’m grateful for whatever positive actions this administration does to help americans, whatever it does to guard Israel. one of the things to pray about is talk about “deal making” over Israel. dividing the land and/or division of Jerusalem is against what the Bible reveals God has said about Israel and Jerusalem. God promised a space of land for Israel and told them to possess it, and the bible has many references to Jerusalem being the city of the great King, the apple of God’s eye. our new president however well meaning, is mistaken if he believes dealing to divide Israel is a good thing. be encouraged family in Christ to pray for our leaders to be guided to Christ and guided by the Holy Spirit in wise decision making. the church is still here—our prayers rise to our Abba in heaven who hears.
Judah, you are he whom your brothers shall praise: your hand shall be in the neck of your enemies; your father's children shall bow down before you. Judah is a lion's whelp: from the prey, my son, you are gone up: he stooped down, he couched as a lion, and as an old lion; who shall rouse him up? The scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and to him shall the gathering of the people be. Gen 49
