The part that I agree with is that God may be moving us toward an end time , while we are unaware of it.

I’m totally in the minority here, and that’s okay…

I keep wondering why so many people are placing Isaiah 17 before the Trib. Most of the references to end times conflicts revolve around the Second Coming. Gog Magog is different because it shifts the existing paradigm. But reading through the entire chapter of Isaiah 17, it seems kinda clear to me that it’s a Second Coming thing.

The verses from Jeremiah 49 which are linked to Isaiah 17, and which were read in the most recent prophecy update, are also identical to Amos 1 –

3 Thus saith the Lord; For three transgressions of Damascus, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have threshed Gilead with threshing instruments of iron: 4 But I will send a fire into the house of Hazael, which shall devour the palaces of Benhadad. 5 I will break also the bar of Damascus, and cut off the inhabitant from the plain of Aven, and him that holdeth the sceptre from the house of Eden: and the people of Syria shall go into captivity unto Kir, saith the Lord.

But what is either missed or unknown is this verse which comes first —-> 2 And he said, The Lord will roar from Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the habitations of the shepherds shall mourn, and the top of Carmel shall wither.

That matches Joel 3:16 identically, which is unquestionably Second Coming. I think it’s clear Damascus will be destroyed with finality at the second coming. Jeremiah 46-51 are all final destructions. It makes no sense to segregate one of them. At least not IMO.

Romans1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. 17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
