I’m sorry to hear Trump is changing his mind about pushing the two state solution and that Abbas is being invited to the WH.

It goes against his campaign promises to not try and divide Israel. Meetings with Abbas only adds to the deceptive illusion that Palestine has claims to the land and that Israel is an occupier.

We all know God’s plan for His glory, and salvation for the remnant , but just sayin’ I hate to see our leaders doing this. Sigh.

I learned long ago (well, about 16 years ago) not to invest much hope in politicians. Hence my skepticism (which angered many close to me) and lack of enthusiasm for our current president. If our Lord does not return soon, I hope and pray Donald Trump does a great job. But he started putting out warning signs of going soft on the Palestinian/Israeli conflict almost immediately as soon as he took office. Unfortunately, I suspect he’ll wind up being little different than his predecessors. Most of this nation has zero idea where our blessings originate.

I saw George W. Bush in a campaign event in 2000, and he said, with no equivocation, that he would move the U.S. embassy in Israel to Jerusalem the moment he took office. Needless to say, just like his father and Clinton before him and Obama after him, he failed to do so.

John 6:67 Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away? 68 Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life. 69 And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God.
