Thank you, Heather, the information you gave was quite enlightening, and helpful. I appreciate it.
I’ll be starting writing much more about Rev 12 in the near future.
Looking forward to read what you will be writing on Revelation 12.March 31, 2017 at 10:22 am #130080
I just thought of another reason to dismiss the sign in the sky, cause it happens in late September and I wanna go home now! We are told “on a day you think not, the Son of Man comets”
April fools day is a day I think not. So is April second, third, fourth, fifth……..
Come to think of it, so is today.
Honestly though, I don’t dismiss the sign, I only question its relationship to the rapture. If it is our departure, Great! If we leave sooner even better. All praise glory and honor to our great God in Heaven, the Holy One of Yisrael!
We are goin home soon, our rest is coming quickly.
Romans 8:38 For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor heavenly rulers, nor things that are present, nor things to come, nor powers, 8:39 nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in creation will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.April 6, 2017 at 10:39 am #130282
Dano, I am not a mod, but if it’s okay I will briefly chime in on the video and the guy who does them, Scottie Clark. First of all, I am in no way presuming to judge his sincerity on the subject of the Rapture, or will not question his faith. Many of us here have seen his videos and I believe others including many of the mods have had sincere and deep discussions with him about Rapture date setting. The couple of problems that have been encountered are that he almost exclusively counts on astronomy type signs to relate to the rapture, and while we know that the Trib comes with signs prior to it….the Rapture does not. He also has set hard dates and that is not a good idea for many reasons; it assumes that he is privy to some information that the rest of world does not have and also..if he is wrong and more than likely he is…he will set people up for disappointment or worse…have them looking at a day too far into the future and not thinking that today could be the day.
I do agree with you, that the Sept. 23rd sign coming up is very interesting and worthy of discussion; but I sincerely believe that it is not a sign for us or for the Rapture.
The decision was made several months back to make sure that all “watch dates” that we discuss concerning a potential Rapture day, be grounded in the Word and backed up with scripture. It was done so that other coincidental numbers, number series, and astronomy were not the exclusive factors with which the dates were being suggested.
And we always call them watch days, we don’t set hard dates.
That being said…many topics in the news today are very relevant with regards to signs of the Trib…and we know that if there are more signs for the Trib, that our departure is ever nearer!!
Thank you for your post! I appreciate your comments and coming here to discuss and examine all things related to the Word and our Blessed Hope!

I was referring to the second advent sign in 2024, not the Rapture. The Rapture happens seven years before the second advent sign.April 6, 2017 at 7:02 pm #130301
