I had a dream that I wanted to share and it has been approved by the MODS!
My father died 1 1/2 years ago and was 84 years old. He has gone to heaven and was a very strong Christian.
Last night (now a week ago), I dreamt that my father came to me 3 times. He appeared younger each time I saw him. I knew it was truly him and that he came back from heaven. He looked about 70. I was not suprised because I remembered the passage in scripture where the dead in Christ rise first and then we are caught up with them. So I thought I would see him before we were raptured. The first time I saw him, I said to him, “He is coming soon isn’t He!?!” and he responded, “(no), we are going to Him”. The “no” was not a no of “Him” coming but rather the order in which we would go to Him first. However, the “soon” part of the question was intoned as a “yes”! Then after we went to Him, then he would come. I looked away and then he vanished.
Then I was with my family and other people and he appeared again (he looked 60ish) to them, and they were not suprised to see him either. And just as they were talking to him, we looked away and he was gone.
Finally, he appeared to us again (he looked about 50ish) and he sat down and we talked and asked him questions about Heaven, although he didn’t fill us in very much. We also asked him about what he remembered about his time here and he didn’t really give us much either. Then he vanished, but we actually saw him disappear before our eyes!
The thing that really gets me is that I was suprised when he “corrected” me and said that we were going to Him!. I had not been thinking of it this way and have always said, while awake, “He is coming”. I was truly surprised in my dream and when I awoke that I was “corrected”. I mean I already knew the rapture was coming first, but this was unexpected to have the “dream” correct me. In other words, I was not correcting myself, HE was using my father and my dream to correct what I said.
I hope this will be an encouraging dream!September 7, 2015 at 11:17 am #84533
I am curious. My son had a dream last night (about whuch I will not post detail) and i have had a few in the last few months. But it got me to wonder if you all are actively having encouragement dreams about his coming.
I am not asking for details (as that would be subject to moderation, as I agree it should be). I am asking for my own sake and for encouragement. I know there have been sparse postings of this but have you all seen an uncrease in this realm? I think this would be an encouragement to us all and would give us an even greater indication that He is speaking to His body to edify them.

Indeed Matthew 621! Well said. I believe that this is the case, an increase in personal dreams & visions might be confirmation as to the nearness of the Rapture. Whenever one is posted, it does seem to bring more information. That is to say, that even though some might be personal in nature, there is little or no interpretation that is needed. But a cautious reminder, that until we hear a corporate word from the Lord, it is all still speculation. Feast days and current events may indeed me markers as well, but they are not yet conclusive. Hopefully 9-12-15 will eliminate all further speculation!

An outpouring is coming with an open Heaven element in which miracles, dreams, healings and visions will happen. I believe we may be used as part of this happening. It is to be expected for this type of activity to ramp up now. In some ways maybe this is what we are waiting for first before the rapture but I believe it could include us being changed first. Tender Reed gives a wise word on this. We may see hints of things to come but they are speculative until we actually deal with them.
Children especially may have this gift. The Scripture also mention this.
The eyes of the Lord range throughout the entire earth, to strengthen those whose heart is true to him.September 7, 2015 at 5:37 pm #84571
Hi, Mathew621! Yeah. My Dad died in 1966. I have had probably fewer than twelve dreams about him since, and only one in which he actually said anything. All the others he would just look at me emotionless and deadpan. And even on that one occasion when he spoke it was some emotionless phrase and then he turned and walked away. Several days ago, however, he rushed out of the garage while I was driving up to it and greeted me at the car door more warmly than I ever remember. The whole family had been waiting for me inside the house to get home. There seemed to be a family get-together going on inside.
It may not sound like much but it was huge for me!!
I know that my Redeemer lives, and that in the end He will stand upon the earth. And after my skin has been destroyed, yet in my flesh I will see God; I myself will see Him with my own eyes -- I, and not another. How my heart yearns within me! Job19:25-27September 7, 2015 at 5:44 pm #84572

I haven’t had any dreams about this. I wonder if I will.September 7, 2015 at 7:08 pm #84581
Thank you for sharing the dream with us.
Matthew 6 21 I haven’t seen an increase in my dreams but I have noticed an increase of mighty moves of God in my Church. The presence of the Lord very strong right after our praise and worship. Many people being led to the alter to pray. I see this as God preparing the saints for what may be coming apon the earth.A few years back I was dreaming about End times things alot.
[Jeremiah 9:23 Thus saith the Lord, let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches: 9:24 But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the Lord which exercise lovingkindness, judgement, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the Lord.]September 7, 2015 at 10:18 pm #84619
I have never been one to have frequent dreams, but I admit I have been practically begging the Lord to give me a dream about the rapture or heaven. I am so anxious to go Home that I think a dream about it would really lift my spirits! But so far He hasn’t seen fit to give me one. I love to hear about others’ dreams, though. Yours, Matthew621, sounds amazing.September 7, 2015 at 10:59 pm #84622
I have had one, my 27 year old daughter has had one, but most amazingly, my almost 4 month old baby granddaughter is always (and I do mean ALWAYS) looking up at the ceiling and smiling and even laughing. I don’t really know if this is a usual thing for babies this age, but I certainly don’t remember my two girls doing it, or my two other grandchildren doing it. We wonder if she is seeing angels?September 7, 2015 at 11:26 pm #84625

Yeah I have been asking him to give me one, but he hasn’t. I’m glad other people have. 🙂September 8, 2015 at 11:58 am #84670
just a note to add to the thread …
over the last three years I have had dreams. However, since Pentecost I have been under spiritual attack. No dreams; but it doesn’t bother me because I know God knows what’s going on.October 20, 2015 at 1:24 pm #91528
