Apr 15, 2014 Total Lunar Eclipse

    http://www.timeanddate.com/eclipse/lunar/2014-april-15

    …………………..

    From an email; no link:

As per NASA officials, the first blood moon is a complete lunar eclipse in which the trajectory of earth’s orbit passes between the moon and the sun. The eclipse starts April 15 at 3.07 am as per EST and will be at its peak 3.36 am and ending at 4.25 am. The eclipse will last for around 78 minutes.

The entire event is visible from both North and South America. Observers in the western Pacific miss the first half of the eclipse because it occurs before moonrise. Likewise most of Europe and Africa experience moonset just as the eclipse begins. None of the eclipse is visible from north/east Europe, eastern Africa, the Middle East or Central Asia

I Am the Lord! Besides Me there is no Savior. For there is no other name under Heaven given among men by which we must be saved. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved!

At the first lunar tetrad on Feast days in the last 3000 years, the only “major” thing that actually happened (that I’m aware of) happened on the third lunar eclipse – the one on the second Passover Feast. Which was THE Passover Feast in which our Beloved was the sacrificial Lamb of God. I don’t think anything major has happened on any of the other actual feast days of any of the last seven tetrads.

But, as we’ve discussed, this one is unique in several ways. So only He knows if He has simultaneous events planned.

...bow before God, for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of the prophecy. Revelation 19:10
For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. Galatians 3:27
I am convinced of this, that the One who began a good action among you will bring it to completion by the Day of the Messiah Jesus. Philippians 1:6

This is a “different” eclipse in that we have internet media so that anyone with a computer or other media to watch the eclipse, can see it whether it is visible in their area or not. Replay will be available. What is it a sign of? Though we do not know for certain, we do know the event was planned in that when God set the heavenly bodies in their paths, He knew the eclipses would line up with Passover and Sukkot. Is it a warning about the fullness of the gentiles? Warning about the age of grace closing? Is it warning about Daniel’s 70th week, or about war? If people look up or look at their computers or tvs or iPads and realize that Someone wiser and more powerful than all of us created the universe, then this event too will help draw people to salvation.

In another thread, someone asked about fear. When I become afraid or anxious, the words of Jesus that He would send us a Comforter, the Holy Spirit come to mind. Also that as in Psalm 23, His rod and staff comfort me.
    Also, Jesus said

    Matthew Chapter 11
28 Come unto me, all [ye] that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

30 For my yoke [is] easy, and my burden is light.

Be encouraged. No matter what the meaning of the blood moons falling on feast days, Jesus words are true.
Psalm 23 is true. Cast your cares upon the Lord. Ask for the comfort of the Holy Spirit.
Ask our Father in heaven to cause you to be guided by His wise use of rod and staff.
Ask Jesus to lift the burdens of fear, anxiety, circumstances off your heart and mind, confessing your need of Him.
He loves you and will keep His words. Cast all your cares upon Him for He cares for you, yes on 4/15/2014 also. :rose:

But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, [even] in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

Isn’t there some science article or theory that ties moon phases to earthquakes?

Yeah, here are some articles to ponder

    interesting point of this article

Nabhan said the effect is strongest when the sun, moon and Earth are in “near-syzygy,” so closely in line as to be within a couple degrees of actual eclipse. The effects are especially strong when the moon is at “perigee,” its closest point to Earth.

I’ll be in the kitchen getting our Passover dinner prepared that night….but I’ll definitely be sticking my head out the window a few times during the night to check out the moon. I got to see a blood moon in Israel in 2011…it was awesome!

I for one do not take it as an omen of fear but as a sign from God that he LOVES me and is watching over me as I prepare for my wisdom tooth extraction the following morning. I also take it as him saying I am coming SOON!

Amy if you see this post, do you have a tried and true recipe for unleavened bread? This will be my first Passover/Feast of Unleavened bread. I need some type of sandwich bread for work through the week.
I’ve purchased Matzah crackers but wondering if there is a good recipe for something like a flat bread? It’s just me, myself and I so my Passover meal will be humble, a small beef brisket with potatoes and romaine lettuce, and scallions for bitter herbs with Matzah There is only so much one person can eat! Maybe fruit for desert if not too full.

    Thanks…

Sorry, we just use the Matzah. I tried some unleavened bread made with club soda and Matzah meal and it was horrible. :negative: I’ll stick with the Matzah. Here is my menu for our meal: http://www.trackingbibleprophecy.org/recipes_meals.php#passover

Amy, the food looks really good!
I hope at the wedding supper there is hot challah and honey!
