I posted this question on another thread but wanted to hear everyone’s opinion. I personally think the blood moons that fall on Jewish Feast days are a huge sign, and always have been in the past. But I keep hearing that the next tetrad won’t even be for another 500 years. This I don’t get because if the 2nd Coming is within 7-10 yearsish then 500 years from now is smack dab in the middle of the Millennial Reign, with nothing significant happening until the end of the 1,000 year reign. What do you think the purpose of the blood moon tetrad is, 500 years from now? lolJanuary 19, 2014 at 3:52 pm #22392

Well, there’s a simple answer to that…the solar cycle/calculations are theoretically endless….yet we know Christ said this world shall come to an end at the appointed time (Which no man knows the day or hour) and to bring in everlasting righteousness and the King of Kings ruling in Jerusalem.
I and many yearn for that day, that’s why we’re watching that “fig tree” closely (Matthew 24:32-34)
Romans 8:21 “…the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the freedom and glory of the children of God.John 3:14-16 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: That whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life...

At some point, the feast days will have been fulfilled. The only one that’s really mentioned as continuing in the Millennium is the Feast of Tabernacles. You might also wonder if the heavenly bodies will maintain the same orbits they currently have. I don’t have any specific information about that, but lots of things could happen before 500 years elapse. And it will be interesting to see if anything takes place during this upcoming round before speculating on the next.My soul yearns, even faints, for the courts of the Lord; my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God. Psalm 84:2January 19, 2014 at 4:24 pm #22396

Well we know after the Millennium there’s no sun or moon, but in the millennium, nothing crazy happens until it’s over and Satan is Judged.
(Rev. 21:23) The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp.
Christ will be the Light of the world as he told us before in the Gospel
The blood moons are interesting but we maybe giving them too much attention seeing that, many times they start after the event…i’e 1948,Spanish inquisition etc…so they’re not prophetic in my view, though interesting.
we also seem to forget,no one knows which calendar is correct,so giving the blood moons too much attention kind of ignores that simple fact.
In short,i’m saying all prophesy is given way ahead of time and God predicts exact events,no guess work required.John 3:14-16 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: That whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life...

We do know that the earth will be transformed and restored for the Millennial Kingdom. And Isaiah 60:19-20 indicates that this renewal process is going to cause some significant changes in sun/moon dynamics. Which means that this lunar tetrad will likely be the last one EVER, because of the changes coming. “The sun will no more be your light by day, nor will the brightness of the moon shine on you, for the Lord will be your everlasting light, and your God will be your glory. Your sun will never set again, and your moon will wane no more; the Lord will be your everlasting light, and your days of sorrow will end.”...bow before God, for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of the prophecy. Revelation 19:10
For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. Galatians 3:27
I am convinced of this, that the One who began a good action among you will bring it to completion by the Day of the Messiah Jesus. Philippians 1:6

I thought it was interesting that the last moon in this 2014 – 2015 tetrad is a super-moon, and i believe it will be visible in Israel. Almost like an exclamation point signalling the end of the sentence!
Also, the moon is referred to in scripture as a “faithful witness” which means it would be fine for them to occur during or after.
“It will be as eternal as the moon, my faithful witness in the sky!” Psalm 89:37
