Blessings. He is Risen. He is coming again.

Don’t know when, but continue to look up for our redemption draws near. I’ve found that it really helps to focus on prayer for unsaved people in my life, because I want them to be saved. I know that God Himself will take us home & shut the door (like He did with Noah & the Ark), but until that time, keep looking up & keep praying for your friends who need the Lord.

Found this today on Five Doves (, so instead of a new post, just adding it to this one:

    By A.W. Tozer

Every man shall receive his own reward.
    1 Corinthians 3:8

Our motives in the Christian life should be both
right and genuine. God is the Faithful One. We are to love Him
and serve Him because He is God — not because of the
gracious things He does for us or for the rewards He
    promises us!

However, it should be said that God does not expect us
to forget or ignore the gracious future promises He has
made to us. It is a glorious truth that if we believe God
and honor His Word, if we walk by faith in love and
obedience, there will be eternal rewards for each of us in
that great coming day. The rewards will differ. Wisdom
and knowledge and love reside in Him who is our God.
He will make the right judgments for His people.

I for one will not be surprised if some of God’s faithful
people serving Him today should rise as high and shine as
brightly as the heroes of faith listed in the book of

I say that in all truthfulness, because I do not think that
all of the heroes of faith are dead and gone!

Fair use for education & discussion purposes

    Blessings, Julie

Thanks for sharing your heart. Indeed there are many modern day heroes. Many although unknown will be found in every generation. And let us not forget the martyr’s of each generation as well. But we will all be surprised what the Lord will reward. That’s just the kind of God we serve.

When the enemy declares a coming storm, warriors declare they are the storm!

Thank you very much dear Julie. Happy Resurrection Sunday to you too. :rose:
Happy Resurrection Sunday to everyone on RITAN.

Do not fear, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and hold you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."
